Client on Nvidia Shield hangs when attempting to use menus during playback

The Plex Client on Nvidia Shield hangs / freezes / crashes when attempting to use menus during playback. This seems to be the biggest issue when playing 4k HDR content. Attempting to use the chapter selection or plex payback settings menus or andriod settings menu causes the app to hang or crash. Logs attached.
