Client Views Hanging for Primary User

I have been having issues in both the web player and nVidia Shield Player when using the primary account user. Here is what is happening:

When I initially open Plex web or the nVidia Shield client, the home screen takes up to two minutes to load. Sometimes it doesn’t load at all and I get an error that says “something went wrong”. If I go to the TV library and then go to any TV show, I get an error saying “something went wrong”.

If I use any of my managed users, all views (home, tv show,s etc.), load within 3 seconds, so the issue seems to be isolated to my primary user. I have optimized the database and cleaned bundles several times. I have also followed the instructions to repair the database and nothing has improved the issue.

Any ideas as to what may be going on here? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you had libraries pinned to your side bar, which were located on other people’s servers?
These servers don’t appear to be shared with you anymore, so the app tries for a long time to reach the server, but fails eventually.
And since your managed users don’t have access to shared servers, they don’t suffer from the issue. Because they never got the chance to add those foreign libraries to their side bars.

I recommend you to re-run the “first-run wizard” of your apps:
