I’m running Plex Server Version 1.18.3.2156 and Web Client Version 4.18.1. I created some collections by filling in the Collections tag with the same value. Then on the Advanced properties of the collection I set the Collection Mode to “Hide items in this collection” but they still show in the list…

What to you have set for the library itself? If it is on Disabled change it to one of the other two. if the library itself is disabled it will not show collections and will always show the items regardless of the individual collection settings
