I have a collection named “DC Comics” It has media from my regular movie and TV libraries, and also content from the “Kid’s” movie and TV libraries. The preplay screen shows the content from all libraries, each with within it’s own subsection. So, there are 4 “Collections” shown at the bottom of the pre-play. But that’s how it works in Plex Web as well.
EDIT: Actually, a little experimenting, and it’s not consistent. Sometimes just 1 collection, sometimes 2, and sometimes more.
It is even more crazy.
I just found a collection which works as expected.
So same library, just different collections. These collections have the same ‘visibility’ preference.
Movies in one collection behave as expected, movies in the other don’t.
And I don’t see a difference. Both have only movies from this one library in them.
It appears to be connected to the soundtracks.
(Don’t ask me why)
if the movie has soundtrack info, the collection shows. If it doesn’t, the collection is also missing.
Could you all verify this theory (please do compare with the web app)?
UNO on Roku is, or should be, the flagship. There are bugs, like this one, that seem to migrate, so perhaps a common point of failure exists. And can be annihilated.
