Server Version#: Version 1.40.5.8897
When I view the server and use the “Console” tab every 0.1 seconds or so I am seeing multiple messages of the following:
Failed to get color palette: Empty pixels when quantize
Failed to select colors
According to server activate the server isn’t “doing” anything, so I am not sure what
is causing the mass spamming of this message to the log.
This is NOT the latest server version, but the change log for the latest release doesn’t mention this anyway.
I’m also getting this error frequently it seems.
May we please have the server DEBUG logs from when this occurs?
We need the DEBUG to know what it was doing when the error occured.
It could be posters or photos or even chapter indexes.
Running PMS v1.41.0.8992 on Ubuntu 22.04, 6.8 kernel.
I see the messages when Plex scans the libraries.
At first glance I do not see a pattern. Does not happen to the same files each time scanned. Also, media have varying video types - HEVC HDR, HEVC 8-bit, MPEG2, H.264.
I’ve noticed no problems with playback, etc. Figured they were “fake” error messages like “Unknown metadata type: folder” or “Unable to find client profile”.
