Same thing with samsung, I even bought i3 NUC at the time that should be able to transcode, but well this is going for 15 years or so, luckily you can buy some amgloic based players now and it all works

So any update on this issue? The subtitles stuttering is not going away with any new update ? Anybody managed to solve this ? Dev team have a solution cooking ?

Iā€™m getting it pretty heavily myself, Figured my Ryzen 3600X and 1650 SUPER could handle it, but apparently doing 4k subtitles is out of the question. About to drop another $400 for a 3900X if I double the cores will this help?

Edit: Oh BTW Iā€™m using the Vizio app.

Same problem here with samsung tv and no hw transcoding on freenas. Unless i switch it to 720p transcoding , it will not work. Stuttering and macroblocks on original quality.

Same here too on LG 49UH668V, on 05.50.80 OS, hope it gets fixed!
