Content matches fine, have to manually apply posters

Server Version#: 1.20.0.3133

I’m not sure when this started, but I’ve been having this problem for a few versions now. Whenever I add content to my library, Movie or TV, Plex will match the content correctly, and will download the correct posters, but will not automatically apply them. I have to then edit the item and apply the poster. I’ve tried adjusting agent priority, deleting the agent cache, optimizing database, repairing database, nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions on what could cause this, or how to fix?

Please do the following:

  1. Make certain DEBUG logging is enabled but VERBOSE logging disabled.
  2. Restart PMS
  3. Wait about 2 minutes for everything to start and stabilize
  4. Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
  5. Attach the ZIP file please

We can look at it and see what isn’t happening.

I’m not seeing any errors in your logs.

I do see you’re now using the new agent and therefore will ask:

  1. Did you “Upgrade” the metadata agent (hover over the library -> Manage -> Upgrade) ?
  2. After that , did you Refresh All Metadata?
  3. Lastly, where is the Local Media Assets agent in your stacking order? If it’s at the top, it will block automatic selection.
