As the title says, when i watch tv series with plex the system does not remember correctly what was the last episode that i’ve seen.
For example: i’ve watched 3 episodes of game of thrones in a row, i’ve started from episode 6x01 and at the end of the evening i’ve finished to watch the episode 6x03, the “continue watching” feature should suggest me to watch the 6x04, but instead it suggests to watch the 6x02.
Plex keeps this behavior with every Tv show i watch.

Ignoring the Arch Linux issue, I think you are misunderstanding what “Continue Watching” is for. That’s to continue where you didn’t finish watching something. If you were watching multiple episodes and don’t let it run to near the end, then Plex will think you didn’t finish and will continue to show that episode. Make sure you play upto around 90% of the duration or this will happen.
The thing you want to look at to find the next episode is “On Deck” This will show either, the current episode if you paused or stopped before hitting the end, or the next episode if you did finish.
