Control Auto Hide Broken

Server Version#: 3.77.4
Player Version#: 2.26.0.955 Embedded#:8.2

As you can see from the above I am running the latest embedded version of PMP. Previously I was running did not have this issue, although I don’t recall exactly what version it was, I know it was at least 2.0.7.63.

The Issue is if I connect my android mobile device to connect to my embedded device and pause and resume a movie using the pause and play button on the mobile device the controls don’t auto hide. If I select the “open remote” feature on the mobile device I can hide the controls by either pressing back on the remote or left or right. Point is I shouldn’t need to do this and didn’t on previous versions of the embedded app, clearly something has changed. To clarify if I pause and resume the film using the “open remote” feature on the mobile device the controls auto hide as expected.

I am sure using a mobile device in this way is perhaps the most common method of controlling most instances of plex so I implore plex support to resolve this usability issue and I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions from any users either experiencing this issues with the embedded PMP or not as that may lead to identifying in what version the fault was introduced or a fix.

Hi @chammock. The update that went out yesterday (2.27.0) should fix this issue. Can you please give it a try?

You can grab it from https://nightlies.plex.tv/public-test/plexmediaplayer/embedded-testing/2.27.0.957-cd8065b5/.

I have upgraded and the problem is fixed in 2.27.0. Many thanks @pcalves and team
