I can test it on Windows x64

Testing the Multi Version I have come across a reproduction error that is also related to this thread.
To test the multiversion I have cut a minute of a movie in 4k (mkv) and another minute of the movie in 1080p (mkv).
It turns out that in both subtitles have been kept but empty:
-Mediainfo:
ID : 3
Format : UTF-8
Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8
Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text
Bit rate : 0 b/s
Count of items : 0
Track Size : 0.00 Byte (0%)
Spanish Language
Default : Yes
Forced : Yes
After 5 seconds of playing either of the 2 versions⦠āconversion failedā (Tautulli and Plex control panel puts direct playback).
If I disable that empty subtitle track they play without any problem.

I can test for NVIDIA SHIELD
It would require developer options enabled and side loading - best to wait for the beta Nvidia Shield release with this fix
I am also happy to try on wdmycloudex2Ultra.
I am running the official PMS docker container on openmediavault (Debian 11). Happy to test the dev build if required.
Hey I can test it out too, Iām on Windows 10 x64
I am sorry it is not possible to offer a docker development build
Hi,
Someone can provide some feedback here about that version ? You all asked for it but no information after that ![]()
Or if is it still possible, I would try that version too. Ubuntu x64 as server, Samsung 2016, LG and Android TV (MiBox S) as client.
Thanks.
Itās because the users get added to a development build thread and all comments will be posted there.
The transcoder crashing issues have been fixed, hopefully @sa2000 can add you to the list to test ubunto x64.
Failing this, the fact the test buildās fix the crash means a working fixed build is coming ![]()
Hi,
Thanks for the good news ![]()
Can any of the testers confirm if the bug that the last subtitle line is not shown is also fixed? (I think that bug is older than the crash.)
For me, the last subtitle line doesnāt play on the development build.
A sample clip was asked for but havenāt had time to do this, i was under the impression many people have made threads and submitted samples already regarding the last subtitle line not playing.
The seeking subtitle catch up problems are also still present.
As per the feedback you had from @Redayejedi
I will update this thread once the fix goes out into a beta or public release
Any residual issues will be looked into with new and specific diagnostics requested - after the fix is released
It looks like a new Beta fixing this issue is released:
(Transcoder) Unexpected behavior when subtitles ended before the end of video (#14426)
Plex Media Server - #596 by drzoidberg33
Yes the fix for the transcoder crashes relating to subtitles has now been released in 1.32.6.7468
Please all update to this release. If there are any residual issues, please raise a new topic with diagnostics - debug server logs, a short clip to repro the problem - you can ping me in the new topic you raise. We had reports before of the last subtitle missing - so that would be one example for a new topic
I can confirm that indeed itās working
Thanks ![]()
has anyone else noticed videos are slow to start since this update?
If I turn off secure connections, it is fast again⦠Running this update + secure connection to a remote server is slowā¦
Any idea when a public release will happen? Iām on 1.32.5.7516 server on a Mac Studio streaming to a Samsung Smart TV. I have subtitles enabled and does the same⦠the server crashes on the Mac at the end of each episode played.
