I have a video I converted with VLC using the conversion settings below. I put it in it’s own folder and run the discovery on that library. It finds everything else, but not this video. Any thoughts on what I could do differently? Different conversion method?
What is the filename? That’s the first thing Plex Media Server looks at.
Folder Name: LeapFrog Phonics Farm
File Name: LeapFrog Phonics Farm.mp4
I don’t think that will match so if you don’t see if, it may have gotten matched as something else or even as a duplicate to another file. Checking for duplicates is easy, there is a filter for it. If it got matched as something else, maybe check the recently added and see if something is there that you don’t recognize.
The other option would be to try doing a Plex Dance and then provide the server logs so I can see what PMS is doing with that file.
