Are you guys on the latest version 10.19.2.11 and still crashing? I haven’t experienced this issue but some of my devices have started to update to this version.
I am facing the same issue. I have a Fire Stick 4K running version 10.19.0.1142 of Plex. I don’t have Plex Pass but though some more logs may be helpful. These are from straight after the app crashed and I opened it again.

Here is a new build we reverted quite a few changes that were included in 10.19.0. As we are unable to reproduce the issue we can’t confirm 100% that this will fix it but we would appreciate some feedback. (Please make sure to uninstall the previous app otherwise you may run into issues installing this build.)
Is there any way to force an update on the fire stick? I still can’t see a prompt to update to the new version.
Quick question this is an even newer build than the 10.19.2 build you guys release two days ago. If I sideload this new build you just linked will my firestick auto update to an even newer version when Amazon AppStore release in the future or will I have to delete this version you just linked and download directly from AppStore on firestick.
I’m not 100% sure about the sideloading and updates I know on Android TV its fine but not sure with the Amazon store. We are releasing it to the store soon but at a slow roll out so could take a while to get to you.
My app has just upgraded to 10.19.2.1191 and I’m still getting the crashing

Thanks for this - i’ve just tested it out for 10 minutes of browsing the Plex Home section and playing a couple files and no crashes - previously it was crashing within 30 seconds
I rarely use my Firestick (always PC app) but i’m sure others will test it for longer
Yesterday’s side load version seemed to work initially but was crashing every few seconds tonight. I’ve installed this new version on both Fire Sticks and will give it a test. So far so good, but that is what I thought yesterday. Thanks Plex for trying to fix this. So frustrating to not be able to view my media….
Immediate force close of Plex app persists on all my 4k FireSticks. Reinstalling the app resolved it for only a couple hours and issue returned the next morning.
Nothing custom, just stock 4k Firesticks with Plex running as a docker off my Unraid.
All my other devices (onn, Android, Samsung/Tizen, Apple ios) run the Plex app and web app fine without issue.

Was this on the latest build I shared above 10.19.3?
I’ve installed the 10.19.3 above on 2 of my 4k firesticks. So far, no crashes wheras before they were pretty much crashing before even being able to select anything to play. I’ve left one on autoplay to test but so far it’s been fine for the hour or so it’s been playing.
10.19.3 appears to be working for me, will reply if it starts crashing again.
Can we be notified when this makes to the Amazon App store? I have auto update disabled until then.

I think 10.19.3 fixed the issue. Before, it was crashing so much I couldn’t even get to the settings menu. I’ve got a few hours on it now and it seems good on two Fire sticks. I’ll leave auto update off until I hear from Plex that all is ok again. Thanks for the quick patches!
10.19.3.1200 update is in the amazon store for me.
i have two fire tv sticks, a 4k and a 4k max. the 4k max never had the issue, the 4k has had the issue for over a week. same settings, account, libraries, etc. i factory reset it last night after the previous app update, started watching a film and it worked for about 20 minutes before the problem returned.
so far, 10.19.3.1200 is stable 30 minutes into the same film.
