I’m not sure if this thread is still the most relevant spot since the new UI is no longer in preview, but I thought I’d share these here. In just the few features I use, here are the issues/bugs that I’ve encountered:
- Per my existing thread, Playlist and Collection views only display season-episode numbers and show poster, leaving out episode-specific metadata (this only affected Collections on the old UI, but now playlists have the same layout).
- “Shuffle Playlist” doesn’t work when using casting (per my existing thread).
- “Shuffle Playlist” shuffling matrix feels less random than it used to be (ie I’ve seen the same title appear the queue one-two titles later).
- No ability to toggle shuffling when selecting a title from the playlist page and/or from the play queue (old UI had a shuffle button in the video playback controls, which is now gone in the new UI).
