Is there anyway to default HD only recordings in Plex DVR? It keeps going to Any resolutions which means it defaults to SD for some reason. I have verizon fios and every station has 3 channels, 1 SD and 2 HD (Not sure why 2 HD channels but that is how it is). When I have the DVR set to any, it will always grab the SD stream eventho it is also broadcasting in both HD and SD.
Create the scheduled recording then open it back up to the advanced settings, should be able to choose which channel to record from.
Ya this is what I do now, would be nice if it did it by default.
The only way would be to go back into the DVR setup and uncheck the SD channels/Dupes so that the scheduler doesn’t even see them.
Thats annoying… If the option for HD Only exists, don’t understand why that couldn’t be implemented in the settings to auto select that (just like with comskip). Have a server default, Any or HD Only option.
