I have scheduled a show to record with HD only selected, but it is also selecting SD versions of the show because the HD channel that these reruns are on is protected. I thought by selecting HD only it would ignore these scheduled airings. I am guessing this is a Beta bug but wanted it to be reported.

Screenshots of your settings would probably help if/when the devs start to look at the issue you are reporting.

I’m also experiencing this issue on the current plex server version : PlexMediaServer-1.5.5.3634. Let me know if there’s any information I can provide.
I also have this issue on Version 1.13.4.5271. Strangely, future episodes show up as SD on the Recordings page, so Plex knows they are SD, but Plex records them anyway.
Came to write about this issue on the forums, but was directed to this thread.
Plex Devs:
- In the UK, we have both SD and HD versions on some channels (like BBC 1) running on Freeview, one on channel 1 (SD) and one on 101 (HD)
- When I schedule a series to be recorded on channel 101, PMS selects instead to record the parallel-transmitted SD version on channel 1.
- I would expect PMS to record from the channel I had chosen the series from
PMS version: 1.13.6.5339
PMP version: 3.67.1
Anyone else in the UK also having the issue where if you choose an SD channel it still tunes in the HD version?
