Re creating this thread since I didn’t respond to posts in time. Still can’t delete commercials on my Pr2100. I’m guessing it’s not powerful enough for Plex, Channels DVR can skip them. Also I’m surprised Plex can’t direct play mpeg 2 without audio sync issues, on my Apple tv I have to use the old video player and force transcoding. Also. I switched to T-Mobile home Internet. Is there a way to enable remote access?

What version of WD‘s OS and what version of Plex Media Server do you have installed on that machine?

Server logs might show some details why it’s not working as expected.

I looked at the guide. T moble home Internet doesn’t have a router, not sure what I can configure.

I have WD firmware 5.26.300 which is current and Plex server 1.32.5.7349 which is current also.
