I have accidently created a second account which is conflicting with my original PLEX pass account. Can the second account be deleted and, if so, how?
To delete an account log into the account and go to account settings and the delete option is at bottom of page. There will be a informational warning and then you need to type in password to confirm deletion
I accidently created a second account via google (B) and is appearing as my primary account with the symbol showing with a crown which is the one I want to delete. When I click on the delete option it seems to want to delete what is supposed to be my primary account (A). I am worried that I will delete (A) and won’t be able to get it back. Hoping someone can help.
Use the “incognito”/“privacy” mode of your web browser. Then log in to the account which you want to delete.
Not working as of now. When not in privacy tab, I just get redirected to reset the pw (which is in violation of EU law) and in privacy mode, I get a couldflare error. And yes, I tried it multiple times.
Make sure to use a full-featured web browser. Avoid browsers which have been locked-down – either by default or through the use of browser add-ins.
It might also be possible that the plex.tv systems are currently slightly overloaded, considering the recent events.

This does not work at all.
Clicking the button to delete my account opens a window asking to enter my email to reset my password (???) Then no email is never sent anyway.
How can I close my account? How come it is so difficult??
Patience may be key here, everyone is in the process of resetting their passwords after the breach, so their email servers are struggling a bit. Took over 10min to get an email from Plex for me.

Regarding closing accounts:
I am told that additional safety measures have been taken after the incident.
Unfortunately, Deleting accounts won’t be possible until the password change has been performed.
I cant even reset the password, it keeps complaining the token isn’t valid…and I’ve tried sooo many different combinations of passwords. This really shouldn’t be as difficult as it is at the moment.
