Thanks for the clarification.
Check permission for the newly added files. Make sure Plex has at least read-only access. Also, make sure you follow Plex naming recommendations.
If that does not help, then please do the following:
- Stop Plex Media Server, wait one minute.
- Start Plex Media Server, wait two minutes for Plex to fully start.
- Plex Dance one of the movies that is not detected.
- If it still does not appear, pull the Plex log files (Settings → Troubleshooting), and post the entire zip file to the thread. Also mention which movie you tried to add (it makes searching the log files easier).
Maybe the log files will show what is happening.
