Detroit 4.1 (local NBC affiliate) not updating in Program Guide

Noticed an issue with one of the local channels in the Program Guide. I’m not sure if it’s not getting all the information, or if something else is going on, but some of the shows appear as they should, and then others either appear as “Unknown Airing” or “Channel no longer broadcasting”.

Tried updating the guide again, but this all I get. It’s the only channel I noticed it on.

Thanks. Glad to be sure it’s not something on our end.

yea, i flet the same when i saw your post.

Yup, Same for me and the same channel only 4.1. I can play the channel. It receives the broadcast.

I found this entry after I put in my own similar error report. Trying to view 4.1 results in 'Playback Error". So I can’t watch 4.1 but can watch 4.2 and 4.3. (Or use HDHomerun.)

I just check and now the channel 4.1 is not listed in epg but 4.2 and 4.3 is listed. I re-scanned the channels and 4.1 is in the scan and as strong as 4.2 and 4.3 but still not in epg.

It’s working now on my two servers. Didn’t do anything but thanks to who fixed this. Much thanks!!!

I’m still having the exact same issue - same area, same channel, same error messages.

I checked this morning, the channel is now present in the epg but labeled “channel no longer broadcasting”. Yet I can play station 4.1 but not record anything. I hope someone is looking at this.

I am looking into the 4.1 channel issue - assuming you are on this lineup
Broadcast TV Detroit OTA Broadcast

Thanks…yes on OTA Detroit

Managed to reproduce the problem

The cause of this is now understood and a solution will be worked on. I cannot at this point in time, say when the fix will be in place. I will update this forum thread once the fix is in place

Thank you

Thank you

Yup same here, shows no brodcasting on NBC.

Same issue here since last week, however ‘most’ of my 4.1 guide is now showing up, was there any fixes put in place, or am i just getting lucky?

I am having a similar problem with two different channels besides the one(s) referenced here. Will the fix you’re working on be specific to this channel, or is it a more universal fix? Thx.

It may help other similar issues - but would need to look into to establish if same cause. So would need country / zip code / lineup / channels numbers and channel names / times when the issue shows

Cool, thank you.

USA, 60453, Comcast/Xfinity
Channels 197/Disney & 198/Freeform

It shows “Channel no longer broadcasting” and a date of 9/27/19. It started within the last few days and extends as far into the future as I clicked.

I don’t know if it’s relevant to the problem or not, but these are the channels we record the most.
