With having seen the pictures I can give you a tip about the most likely culprit: embedded meta tags. If this video file is in a mp4/m4v container, the following will very likely solve the issue for you.
Go to
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
Repeat the same under
Afterwards, Refresh Metadata of the affected items.
If your library already uses the new native metadata agent, do this instead:
Edit your library
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
clear the check mark out of “Prefer local metadata”
Afterwards, Refresh Metadata of the affected items.
The descriptions of movie is correct language (Hungarian), but the title not, so I think isn’t an agent setting problem.
But, I checked the Agents:
And checked the Library settings too:
Before the new agent I used the Fix Match manually (movie by movie) but not with the Plex movie agent, but also I used the IMDB agent (whitch is not in the list now):
The result of the Fix Match is correct (everything is Hungarian), but the title not change in the database (still not Hungarian):
It still can be an agent issue.
Since you appear to be using the new agent, you have missed the most important place:
Edit your library
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
clear the check mark out of “Prefer local metadata”
Also in the agent there is a setting: * Use original titles : Use the original titles for all items regardless of the library language. Advanced settings Plex Movie Agent | Plex Support
It was my mistake. The Use original titles was the solutions! Thanks for Your help!
