I have a Movies library with the new Plex agent. I have 2150 movies in the Windows folder, however on Plex if I sort the library by title, I have 2149, and if I sort by date added, I have 2147. Nothing in the duplicated or unmatched category, and nothing in the Trash.
The state of the Collections display option would explain the ‘by Title’ difference, but I don’t think it explains the ‘by Date Added’ difference, unless there’s something I don’t know.
Thanks both. The discrepancy between date added and title was indeed down to collections, so thank you, although it still doesn’t really describe it as the collections only had 1 item in them, but removing them seemed to have cured it.
There are still 2 items that are in the folder that aren’t in the Plex library. What’s the best way to identify them? They aren’t in the unmatched or duplicates section.
I think the usual process is to start with the Plex Dance and then go from there so that if it was a mismatch (identified as the wrong movie) when you do the dance and re-add to your library those two should be the two newest additions which should make it easier to identify if a mismatch.
