Display Mode "Original" zooms 4K video on 4K TV to twice its size

While trying to play some 4K (3840x2160) videos on my Philips OLED806 4K TV, 3 faint vertical lines with flashing dots appear while playing low light scenes. So I tried changing Plex’s display mode settings when I noticed this:

When setting the display mode to “Original”, the video is zoomed in to about twice its size (cropping a large portion of the video).

Does this mean the the Plex app for Android TV is 1080p instead of 4k?
