Do we now have timeshifting capabilities on Android TV?

Release notes for PMS 1.7.4. Seem to indicate yes but I’m not seeing it?

Not until the 6.2 Android client is released, according to the PMS release notes. Currently, 6.1.3 is the latest available in the Play Store if you’re not in the Plex for Android Beta program. I’ve been waiting for approval for a few weeks now to see if the Beta features this yet, but no access yet.

I have 6.2 beta on shield tv and I don’t see it yet

Thanks, @BRBMan. The 1.7.4 Release Notes indicated support should be present in the 6.2 release for Android TV, so I guess the 6.2 release isn’t as close as I was hoping.

edit: Just re-read the release notes, and I could swear there was an explicit mention of 6.2 as the Android release that would contain support for timeshift. Looks like that post was edited on the 12th, so I’m guessing the timeline has been pushed back.

I have 6.2 on my Nvidia Shield. Latest plex server software and I’m not seeing timeshift. Anyone else?

There was a comment in the beta thread saying it missed the deadline for 6.2 but should be in the 6.3 beta (but maybe not initially)

Was literally just about to post this. It looks to be an early goal for 6.3
