Download of media with "searched" subtitles not downloading the subtitles

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play a movie with the MacOS Plex Player, and download subtitles via the player (I downloaded Chinese Language Subtitles for a movie)
  2. While playing the movie with the MacOS Plex Player, the downloaded subtitles display correctly.
  3. Select the movie in the player and select download to download it
  4. Play the download version of the movie.
  5. The downloaded subtitles (from step 1) appear to show in the list of selectiable subtitles (although it shows the incorrect name), it does not display them. In fact it displays the subtitles from a different language…? :slight_smile:

Thanks for report and detailed steps. Looks like it happens regardless of when you do the search and select one.

Downloads don't contain any external subtitle files
