Download option not available in Android tablet client - Android phone & iOS works fine

Hi everyone - when using the Android client on my Samsung tablet, there is no option for downloading specific media as I’m browsing content in my libraries. I can go to the details of a TV show season, or an individual show, and when I look at the details, there is no “down arrow” control to add the item to the download queue. I do have a “Downloads” section in the left-hand nav menu, but I can see no way through the current UI to offline any content.

If I go to the same media on my iPad (same account, same library, same show/episode) and/or Plex on my Samsung phone and browse the details then there is a “down arrow” button and I can successfully offline that media.

Does anyone know what I’m missing? I’d appreciate any help/insight on this.

Could you get screenshots and Plex for Android logs zip - see the Share Debugging Data setting for getting the zipped logs to your mailbox and then you can attach here together with screenshots. Is the same version of the Plex for Android app running on your mobile phone which does not have the problem ?

@sa2000 - thank you for the replies - I apologize for being so late in my reply, but I finally had some time to dig into this and determined it not to be a client issue at all and was an issue with the managed account I was using… I didn’t have downloads enabled in “Home and Library Access >> User >> Restrictions”.

Total n00b mistake, as I mucked around forever and totally forgot to check that.
