I’m trying to run Plex media server on Asustor NAS drive for music files, with Plex app on iPhone to use as remote control to play files through HDMI into TV.
I’ve downloaded Plex to the NAS via App Central portal on Asustor.
The Plex app doesn’t appear on the Home Screen when NAS boots up.
It’s definitely there as I managed my library from a remote computer and I can see the library on my iPhone and play files back through the phone.
I can even cast music files from the phone back through Chromecast on the TV.
Just can’t get the NAS to play the files out directly through HDMI.
