please reconsider adding the ability to have Downloads in Android TV.
I believe my use case might make sense for several folks: I travel for work and use Plex on the road. At hotels, the internet can be limited so it would be ideal to have some movies and shows available without having to rely on streaming.
I often take vacations on the beach, which means sometimes the internet is not going to be available. It would be nice to be able to have some downloaded content for those cases too.
There’s an existing feature suggestion discussing this (suggestion thread title is still based on mobile sync, the download predecessor).
I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of this thread I’ll close it as a duplicate.
