Downloads Stuck in Queue

Have the new iOS update and the interface is whatever, but my main issue is that the downloads aren’t downloading. None of the previous files were able to be migrated, so I deleted them all and started fresh. Those downloads are now stuck in the Queued Items list and won’t start donwloading.

Is there some setting I’m missing to start them?

Has anyone had any luck with this issue?

Same here. It’d be nice if there was some kind of actual support feedback from plex sometimes.

Same problem here. The issue seems to lie with the iPadOS app, and not with the server, as none of my Android devices are affected; downloads work as expected there.

Adding my experience to this thread. I have had both an iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro in the last month, and both devices had videos stuck in queue. This happened with both movies and TV shows. I never could resolve it even after deleting the app entirely (on both devices). I still cannot identify a pattern when it will occur as it will happen with random movies and random tv episodes.

I have found the Settings in Downloads is Wifi Only, Try disable.

My downloads work, even Large Files.

To delete Downloads, go to in Progress, Vertical Ellipsis next to Title and select Delete.

I have the same issue. Download stuck in “WAITING”

I am having the same issue on a Pixel 7 Pro with Plex version 2025.19.0 (966828423)

Disabling “WiFi Only” does not fix the issue. It is stuck on “Waiting”

I just posted this in another thread yesterday, but check if your stuck title has multiple versions. Downloads on iPad stuck queued state - #39 by petercockroach

Mine has a single version
