I’ve gathered logs for the most recent reproduction of one of the issues - “An error occurred while playing this item.”
Steps to reproduce:
- Clear all download sync data.
- Select a normal playlist and set it to download/sync.
- Wait for download to complete.
- Observe that in the “download & sync > playlists” that the playlist does not show (this sometimes happens, but is not what I observed in my OP)
- Try and play the music from the normal playlists section by clicking on “shuffle”
- Observe that an error message notification shows up on screen for every song as it tries to play each of them. (Usually the app crashes here when I shuffle) This error notification stays on screen even when exiting the app. If you can time it right and click “pause” or the “X” to stop play, the error message goes away, but sometimes it goes so fast that this is not possible and a complete phone restart is necessary for the message to go away.
- Now unable to listen to any of the songs in the playlist until I clear my download data again.
