does it really work? did you try to play synced media?
My audio media synced that way simply didn’t start. moreover i can’t now delete it from my iphone.
Someone should be punished… i demand it to be public 
Just done some more testing and yes it seems to work, albeit long winded.
I have my phone on and the app open. Any web browser with plex web I can open and sync it to the phone. Music, photos, tv and films all working. The download button back would be preferred!
Found my sync is broken this morning also. This many complaints and no response from Plex???

Hi I’m experiencing a similar issue on android, I followed the steps here:

but when I queue up the sync from the web app nothing happens.

Can any one offer any advice on what I’m doing wrong?
I am also having this issue on my Pixel 2XL. I am completely unable to sync even after clearing the storage and cache and reinstalling the app.
This feature really shouldn’t be advertised as a benefit of paying for premium if it simply doesn’t work.

Sync has not worked for me in ages now. Just noticed this thread and was hoping something had finally been fixed, but it appears not.

I’m still having this issue with downloads saying pending. Hoping there’s a fix soon. Regretting Plex Pass now.
I cannot believe that the Plex devs still have not fixed this. This is a core reason I got Plex pass and and it simply doesn’t work. I have attached a log of the event in sheer hope that the devs will fix it (I’m not getting my hopes up though).

I had similar issues, not being able to sync. The sync status says, converting or pending.
For me, it start working once I selected video quality lower than the original file. I was just using “Original (4K)”, assuming it will just copy the original video, no matter what video resolution and bit rate quality is.

They are focusing in non essential things, like games on plex, podcasts, live TV…things that the majority of people don’t use and don’t care…
