My volume with the PlexMedia server crashed. I had everything backed up so I removed the storage pool and rebuilt it. I copied the media back onto the drive (in one folder instead of split out as it was before). While my media was copying to Volume 1, I installed Plex onto Volume 2 since I had a media that was fine. I thought I could run Plex with that media alone while it was copying back my deleted stuff. It didn’t work and I saw an article that said Plex Server has to be on Volume 1. Ok so I uninstalled it from volume 1 to 2 and deleted the folder. Now installed on volume 1, I’m getting the error “No soup for you” from plex. Synology says the server is running fine. I didn’t change and network settings on my Synology just copied deleted files back. I’ve looked at articles online and don’t see anyone with my error exactly. I tried logging out of Plex and connecting locally to plex but I still get an error. “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it.”
I tried to wipe every trace of Plex from my server to start from scratch cause I can’t get the Plex wizard to work so I can select a server. (I even deleted the Plex user, and certificate from the package center. The user was recreated but the certificate was not). I have no idea what to do next.
