How can I enable my plex server outside my network?.
Been trying for weeks and nothing works.
Not sure if I can put my server on Synology and get remote access to work.
Any help would be great.
Settings - Server - Remote Access - Show Advanced (if you want to see/control any details)
What do the DEBUG log files show (Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs) captured about 2 minutes after you click ENABLE?
What am I looking for when opening these files?
I have a Plex Server running on a Synology DS716 ll+ NAS with remote access working. There seems to be an issue (for some) where the Remote Access menu in Plex says there is no remote access - but remote access still works. I downloaded Plex Server for Synology from https://www.plex.tv/en-au/media-server-downloads/ and did a manual install. Once installed, suggest you sign in and go to the Settings–>Remote Access menu and read the setup and troubleshooting tips there and see how you go.
