DSM 7.2.2-72806 update breaks Plex

DSM disabled Plex after upgrading to DSM 7.2.2-72806

Anyone else have this problem?

If you were running DSM 7.0 → 7.2.1 before the upgrade,
This is normal.

Go to downloads.plex.tv

You’ll notice there is a DSM 7.2.2+ package choice in the dropdown.
Use this from now on.

(Synology changed the internal layout of packages for DSM 7.2.2. We had to adjust PMS as well)

To fix this:

  1. Download the DSM 7.2.2 for your machine
  2. Go to Package Center
  3. Uninstall PMS – KEEP option (First radio button)
  4. Now install the DSM 722 package (the file will have dsm72 in the name.

Thank you, I did DL the 7.2.2 for my machine. The step I was missing was uninstalling PMS.

What if you did the install before you uninstalled pms?

No. If you select the KEEP option when uninstalling, the server data remains untouched.

Est-ce que je dois installer le DRM 7.2.2 avant de désinstaller Plex ? (je suis en 7.2.1 en ce moment )

DĂ©sinstaller PMS
RĂ©installer PMS avec package pour DSM 7.2.2+
