I am not sure if it started after the latest update to 1.42.2.10156 but I am having problems recording stuff via the DVR and would like to downgrade PMS for further investigation.
Does anybody know where to find older versions for DSM 7.2.2? I found a site on github but that one only has the packages for DSM 7.

Thanks, but this is the github site I also found. This one only lists the DSM7.spk but not the DSM72.spk packages.
Ugh, sorry. I guess you’re going to have to do it the old-fashioned way. Describe the issue in more detail and provide server logs.
Avoid 1.41.7.x to 1.42.0.x due to security issues and associated remote access restrictions. See Plex Media Server - Security Update - #3 by PlexInfo. Also, some versions of 1.41.7 are afflicted with the “database bloat” bug, so best avoided altogether.
Do not fall back below 1.40 due to database changes (and IIRC, 1.32.8 had DVR issues).
Look at the URLs below. The first is for the DSM 7 version. The second is for the DSM 7.2.2+ version.
Notice the two extra "2"s in the DSM 7.2.2+ version?
Find the version you want and adjust accordingly.

D’oh! The solution was sitting right in front of me, all the time! Simply adding the “2”s to both, the path and the file name, did not occur to me
