DSM upgraded to 7.2.2-72806 and Plex Media Server stopped working

Server Version#: 1.41.0.8994-70008994
Player Version#:1.103.1.238-223cbba6

So updated to the new DSM overnight 7.2.2-72806 and Plex media server stopped working - on a Synology DS220j. It says the package version is incompatible with the DSM version. Current PMS is 1.41.0.8994-70008994, and apparently many have solved this by updating to the new version on the Plex Media Server 1.41.0.8994-72008994.

However, when I download this and try to install, I get the error below and now have a non-working system - any thoughts on how to resolve?

Hey @andyphilpott
I just updated my DSM to the latest and got the same thing, I haven’t tried installing a new version of Plex as I didn’t know there was one or it was going to stop working.

Hopefully it’s an easy fix? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks

EDIT: I just checked and the version of Plex I’ve got installed is

DSM 7.2.2 required Plex to make some packaging changes.

Uninstall Plex Media Server. When prompted, select the Uninstall Only (first) option.

Download and install the DSM 7.2.2 version of Plex Media Server package from plex.tv.

The DS220j has a Realtek RTD1296 CPU. You’ll want the ARMv8 download.

Hey @FordGuy61
Thanks for the info.
I’ve got this DS224+ (Intel Celeron J4125) so would I want the Intel/AMD 64-bit?

Correct.
