I am having problems playing all files, I see all the thumbnails but when I click on the file to play I get this error,
Playback Error: Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.
I can see all the files on the server when I open with either windows file explorer or through the synology file explorer. I enabled read/write permissions to plexmediaserver, but it didn’t work. The only reason I bought a synology nas because every time freenas updated plex would break. A little aggravating to say the least.

Never mind, I had to enable read/write permission for the main folder I store all media, not just plex folder.
