Dual Tuners & Roku Apps

Two questions:

  1. I have the HDHomeRun Extended. It has 2 tuners. I don’t see anywhere in Plex settings that says anything about it seeing two tuners and that I can watch while record (or that I can record two shows in the same time slot at once).

  2. I have Roku Ultras on 4 TV’s. I’ve seen some other posts that we haven’t seen a Roku App update to support live streaming. Is this correct and also, why not? Seems important to have streaming players work with this function (even a limited PP release).

Info re: #1 - See Wiki DVR Beta overview -
My own “Plex Web - settings - server - DVR(Beta)” link shows that I have an Extend, with 2 tuners.
Yours should also.
Though not stated, presumption would be that you can do two items at once as long as no other app or service has locked one of the tuners already.

Info re: to #2 - Only two clients are supported at this time - IOS, and Android TV (Not to be confused with Plex for Android).
As for why, only theories - Plex rarely if ever releases their dev road map or describes the points on it.
DVR is only beta, about a year old. Live streaming is only a few months old. Give it time, it will likely come.
