I re-installed Plex. I used the same server’s name as previous server. Now I have two with the same name. One works, the other does not. In the authorized devices they are both listed. They have the same info except the times listed in the upper right corners are different.
Server1 - says 23 hours ago.
Server2 - says a day ago.
Should I delete one of them? How can I tell which is the correct one?
From what you describe, you’ve created a new server (e.g. instead of migrating your old one).
From Plex’s perspective they’re both different servers, though they share the same name.
If the old one no longer exists, you can remove it from the list of authorized devices.
If you’re not sure which is which, you could temporarily rename the new server (the name has no impact on sharing etc.) – or wait until the next server update is available (then delete the server record with the older server version listed).
