I switched a show from aired order to DVD order. (1 extra file in DVD order). I’ve done the metadata refresh and fix match, and the show still comes up incorrect.
Is DVD order broken with the whole TVDB API kerfuffle?

DVD order will not work, if they are using “fractional” episode numbers on TheTVDB.
e.g. S01E02.5
Which show is it?

I don’t think it’s a fractional episode issue
What exactly does this mean, in your case?
Rather than coming up as My Finale (2), episode 19 comes up as Episode 19.
Are your files perhaps in mp4/m4v containers? If so, the improper episode title could be caused by the embedded ‘title’ meta tag. Make sure you files have either no metadata or have only correct info in them.
They are mkv containers, with no metadata. All other episodes show up fine. Originally this show was loaded as normal air order. I switched it over to DVD order, did a refresh, and no luck.
You could try https://support.plex.tv/articles/202967376-clearing-plugin-channel-agent-http-caches/
and/or the Plex Dance
If that also fails, as a last resort join the two parts of the finale into one file and go back to ‘aired’ order. [HowTo]: joining multi-part movies files with MKVtoolnix GUI
Thanks. I got tired of it not working and just merged them. It’s ugly to have credits in the middle of a show, but it is what it is
