When I record a show it puts the year in the directory and show name. For example:
My Show (2006)/My Show (2006) - S1E01 - Name of show.ts
Is there a way to get rid of the (2006) by default so it matches my other directories on my NAS instead of editing it after the fact?
No. Plex DVR follows the Plex conventions for organizing media as outlined in the documentation:
