I just noticed that I seem to be ending up with 2 directories for each program that I have setup recordings for. One with the (year) on the end and quite often one without. Very odd. So s01e01 went into one diretory and s02e02 went into another, I hope by the third episode it doesn’t decide on yet another naming scheme.

Did you create any of these folders manually?
I have found it sometimes gets confused if folders are created outside Plex
For one i had problems with, i did the following
Move the files into the folder you want it to use (eg the one with year on it)
Delete the other one
Do a full library scan & Clean bundles
Next time it records it should now use the folder with year at the end
Nope that’s the weird thing. I have a T:\ drive which is where PlayOn puts my ‘backup stream recordings’, and S:\ where Plex records to – nothing else touches either drive. Plex deals with it, just found it weird, and in the world of delveopment weird usually means a bug – which could lead to fixes for other stuff.
