When will friends be able to access the DVR functions? I have a mate who lives overseas who would love to access local FTA here in Australia. Is there a way I can give him access without using my owners account?

Plex don’t give ETAs on when thing will be done. You’ll just need to have some patience here, I’m afraid! 
Ok thanks. I’ll tape shows for him on DVR and then he can access via my TV Shows library.
If your using a silicondust tuner:
Use this plex channel for your home users/web viewer for live TV for the time being. This channel will run on the same plex server install as the new plex DVR:
Grant each home user/plex user access to the newly created channel section.
Boooya Live tv for your friends, home users, web client and roku if you have one!
No DVR just Live TV though

As the Plex owner I can watch live tv and record. I believe this plug-in makes my tuners look like HDHomeRun to PMS. Would be interesting to test if the live tv plugin works. Does the plugin get install on PMS Nvidia Shield or on my digital tuner box?
