DVR recording HD with no sound

I attempted to use the DVR feature this morning for the first time. I’m using an HD HomeRun Connect.

Watching the channels live directly on a PC from the HD HomeRun Connect seems to work fine, however, the recording has come out with no audio. Not just silence, the Plex interface says it has no audio track. It’s an HD recording off 124 CBEEBHD in the UK for what it’s worth.

I had the “Convert video while recording” option in the Device Settings set to Transcode as the server Plex is running on has plenty of power and IOPS to spare. I’m trying another recording right now with that set to Off to see if it makes any difference.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

I have the same issue. Previously recorded in SD but changed to HD tonight and the recordings have no sound. As stated above - simply no audio track at all. Is this a U.K. only problem? Or a HDHomerun Connect issue?

Same here, but on BBC HD channels only though - C4HD works fine

Logged onto teamviewer at all? I had issues caused by that

had this issue for ages and cant find a solution anywhere. Only BBC HD and problem occurs when there is a 5.1 sound track.

Was a work around to this issue ever discovered?

I’ve recently installed a new aerial and have started to get this record. ITV HD recordings are fine, but C4 HD channels never seem to record sound.
