Both show they are recording, but at the end of the second episode it fails to find the file so vanishes.

Keeps on happening, another episode today just failed.

Similar problem here. This has been happening for a long time, but I constantly have items scheduled for recording that say they’ve been recorded “successfully” but then no file exists afterwards. In the attached Recording View, anything that doesn’t have a “Play” button in it but is shaded blue allegedly recorded but now has no file to play from.
Tried disabling transcoding in the DVR settings to see if that was causing the issue, but both of yesterday’s episodes still failed to record. I’ve also tried updating the tuner’s firmware, rebooting all devices on the network, etc.
Thanks for the screenshots and log. Unfortunately you have debug logging disabled on Plex Media Server
Please try again to get similar diagnostics with also the directory contents screenshots
I can see that it relates to comskip - so you could disable it until the issue is identified

Threw together a quick recording this morning. Failure is noted in Plex Media Server.1.log at 9:50 AM. This is on a CentOS system with all updates, running Plex 1.15.6.1079. Filesystem is ZFS, tuner is an HDHomerun Prime.
Didn’t remember to catch a directory listing during that recording, but it’s now trying to record the next episode and the following is a readout during that recording session:
