I’ve had a HDHOMERUN Quatro for ages and used it for watching live tv when I’m out and about but never used the DVR option in Plex.I was hoping to setup my father with Plex so he can get rid of his standalone DVR boxes but I’m having problems even on my setup.If I setup a programme to record it only records part of it, it can be 2 mins, 3mins 9 mins and if I go into the filesystem and look at the files there is only a .ts video file in there.If I do the same in Emby, it’s recording the whole programme but has several .ts files (as if the programme has been split up - but even with that it seems to only play the last .ts file and not the whole programme)
I’ve got everything setup as it should as far as I know and when a programme is recording I can see in the activity icon on the dashboard that it says recording but only for that short amount of time
Anyone got any clues on where I’m going wrong as so close to just admitting defeat to my father.
