DVR says complete but folder has zero byte file

Yesterday I set the DVR to record a show. At the start time, a zero byte file was created in the correct folder. Once the show was over, Plex displayed recording complete, but the file remained at zero. I grabbed the log file this morning. It looks like it had trouble getting the HR DVR to setup but then got it. Then 7 seconds in, it stopped.

I am on Version 1.18.0.1846 on Server 2012R2.
I set the record within the server software
I had 6 recordings on Saturday (previous day) that all recorded without issue

Don’t know if there is an issue with Plex or HR.

There are errors along the way

Any luck with this? I’ve run into the same problem on my Ubuntu server and can’t figure it out.

Here was my solution.

I kinda figured that it was not on the Plex side. Plex changed from using the HD channel lineup to its own online schedule. So it was pulling that the show needed to be recorded on a channel it showed “should” be there. On the HD side, the channel was different.

I moved over to the HD box. I downloaded the 20190715beta1
firmware and then did a rescan of the channels and that fixed my issue. I would assume you do not need the beta firmware but could just do the rescan of the channel list.

I have a HDHR4-2US so for me it was to go into Chanel Lineup from the main menu and then click on the Detect Channels button at the top. Make sure you select either Cable or Antenna.
