I’m using an HDHomerun and the PLEX DVR software and there seems to be a bug in the scheduler where if you say “HD Only” for a recording it doesn’t find the item in the schedule, if you set it to any it does find the recording and does record in HD. For the record, I’m the UK, so the channel guide is the UK Freeview channel set. I also see it recording in SD when the HD version is also available.
+1. Just noticed that was my issue. Missed a few recordings due to this.
Same thing here, and I’m in the US.
U.S. here also. In the meantime, I’ve switched back to Any resolution and just set the “limit to channel” to the HD channel. Appears to be working.
