PLEX DVR not recording on HD channels

I have just purchased an HD Homerun Connect and have gone through all the setup steps, including using the Freeview TV guide for Australia (Canberra). It found all the channels, including SD and HD channels, but when adding a recording it only ever gets it from the SD channel.

I tried installing the guide again, this time removing all the SD channels. It then successfully scheduled HD recordings but they all failed. When looking at the recording schedules the “video format” says SD even though its on the HD channel.

Any thoughts - can others in Australia (particularly Canberra) record HD channels. Obviously the whole DVR would be pointless without proper HD support so I’m assuming I’m missing a step somewhere ?

It’s probably that the guide doesn’t list the HD channels as HD, but you should still be able to record them. I’ve been recording things in Melbourne for almost a year now without a hitch. If you could provide logs or some screenshots to show how you’ve got the recording set up, that would be great. :slight_smile:

Ok well the solution for me was to just untick all the SD versions of the channels when creating the DVR. That way it only has the HD channels to choose from. I suspect my recording errors posted earlier may have been due to tuner/aerial/signal quality.
