DVR Setup Not Getting Past Retrieving A Program Guide

I’ve set up the latest Plex MS on a Win Server 2012 box. Now trying to set up the DVR. It finds my networked HD Homerun and scanned the channels- all good to that point. The next step of entering a zip to get a program guide goes nowhere. The zip is accepted, but nothing works after that. It is like the Continue button won’t enable or does nothing. Tried other zips (this is a large US metro area). Nothing. I set up a subscription pay for this TV DVR and guide service. Does someone out there have a suggestion or fix? If not, can I get my money back?

Also a bug: if you select the option to use your own XML file for the guide, there is no way to switch back to the zip-based option. You have to start the DVR setup from the beginning.

I am having exactly the same issue. Trying to set up the DVR on my Surface Pro, and as stated above, cannot get the page to go beyond the zip code entry page…

Having the exact same issue on Nvidia Shield TV

I also am experiencing the same issues with my guide. ■■■■■■ timing to delete and reinstall my PVR while messing with some settings this afternoon. Hope the EPG is back up soon.

This problem is also being discussed in DVR EPG Update Fails.

Same in IL, USA.
Went on vacation all fine, tried updating guide…fails. Reinstall and stops at zip code entry.

I’m trying to setup Love TV today and I think the problem is related to the EPG update problem. I can’t get pass the Guide setup part. Hope that more people will report similar problems and Plex will do something about it.

Yes issue is ongoing. Hopefully it will be resolved soon

Looks like a SNAFU. As no weekend response from PLEX, maybe the fix needs a s/w update rather than some sort of operational systems intervention? If so we’ll probably have to wait until Monday (at the very earliest).

Resolved. Is working again now

It is working today, it appears. Thanks to whoever got it working!

I really want this to be reliable enough to “cut the cable” with UVerse. We’ll see.

Is the guide supposed to be one week or two. Right now I only see one week. This is a little short for scheduling programs ahead, like “the big game”. Ten to fourteen days would be much more acceptable. Is that possible/planned?

Also, on the guide, it would be nice if there were double arrows (<<, >>) added that allowed you to jump forward/backward a full day for the same displayed time range.
