I recently had to rebuild my OS and Plex server and now im trying to do my DVR setup with my HDHomeRun DUO and I can get past every screen until I get to the EPG download.
Once I get here, the language is already selected to English. I input one of the many postal zip codes for my area, the “working” orange circle splashes up for a quick second and goes away. Im not able to press continue to go past the DVR setup.
I have rebooted the server, reset the service, and power cycled my HDHomeRun several times and im not able to get past the screen. Please help!
I tried resetting up my DVR and saw the same behavior you described. Eventually I got past this screen, not sure why, and after entering my postal code was presented with a list of EPG providers, none of which provide correct data. I selected Local Over the Air Broadcast because I use and antenna and got “Error communicating with provider”. So, as of now, I can’t watch anything because I can’t get any guide data. Did Plex recently change the software? This used to work just fine.
Oddly, I’ve been trying for two days and based on a separate thread I tried from the web client on a different machine and suddenly it worked. This is odd, because I tried it from the local machine and a different machine last night and didnt work.
Not sure whats different but there are definitely a few posts on here of people having similar troubles.
I have two hdhomerun tuners. It recognizes them both and allows me to add them to the DVR but when it tries to do a guide update it terminates at 12% and only lists the channels for one of the tuners.
I just added a HD Homerun Connect Quatro to my system today and lost the guide information. I had it today with my old tuner, but when I deleted it to add the new tuner the guide will not load. I am so glad Plex is my back up OTA DVR behind the Tivo and Tablo that I have. I would be very mad if it was my only DVR. WE NEED HELP Plex technical support.
